Is it a fact predestinate
that always
we should celebrate
Death?
Sad for those
who've been left behind,
but
think of treasures
that we find
when mortal coils
are shed.
We reach
a final Miracle
for us.
Perhaps all mortals
should explore
those wonders multiple:
an ordinary part of life
so seldom noticed,
always there.

In Death
more miracles
await us;
but on earth
the very air
is full of music,
colour, growth
present in harmony:
birdsong reveille,
laughter of a child,
flowers, water,
air to breathe.
Life itself
is poetry.
Accept this:
Before we all
must celebrate
the sleep of Death
we must equate
Life's vision
as an aid
to celebrate.
